IN RESPONSE TO POPULAR DEMAND, A NEW HALF DAY OR ONE EVENING SEMINAR WILL BE AVAILABLE
For all the lonely people this Valentine’s Day. Within the last three weeks, I have been asked by lovely young women in their thirties to please start a group on understanding men and how to date. In response to popular demand, I’ll do a 1/2 day or evening focusing on they psychology of men, how to spot red flags and simple techniques. If you are interested, please comment and contact me. For a group of 8 or more, I will do it—even, if I can, at your requested location. Fee is negotiable.
I know I focus in those FiftyandFurthermore, who also have similar issues (as dear ladies, so do men). In my work I see people of all ages who are still befuddled by the opposite sex and wonder where to go and how to meet their prince or princess charming. Even though Match.com, www.eHarmony.com , www.J-Date.com, www.christiansingles.com, www.laterlife.com, and articles in magazines abound, (aarpmagazine.org/ lifestyle/Articles/a2003-09-23-seekinglove.html), one still has to “get out there.” There’s still no substitute for determination, taking a deep breath and getting off your butt. If you want help, the personal match maker business is booming. It’s Just Lunch, and services of every type. I’m still old fashioned enough to believe getting out of the house and doing something you love—be it visiting a museum, joining a sports or bike riding club, playing in bridge tournaments or whatever suits you remains a wonderful way to go. But you do have to go.
More than any other tip I can offer, the 3 most important tools are:
- View dating as a wise numbers game and to know the rules of the game.
- Understand yourself and what you want.
- Understand the opposite sex.--The tricky one.
Dating may be scary, but when done with knowledge, it can also be fun. I can’t imagine when I can fit in one more activity into my schedule, but if you want help and knowledge gleaned from years of both personal and professional experience, I’ll try to honor your request and offer a seminar. Or, for a more immediate response, write your questions to me at FiftyandFurthermore’s Q & A section. There’s no reason to be sitting home alone and unhappy. You’ve got to do something now.
